June is a highly floriferous month in the field, even up here on this windy chilly hill in North Yorkshire the ground temperature has increased. The biennials began to burst at the start of the month and by the end of June, the Hardy Annuals are blooming in the beds, and the roses have roused a ravishing display. In a month that heralds a spectacular display in the field, how as flower growers do we elongate this festival of flowers for longer than the buzz of Glastonbury weekend and continue this floral abundance into late summer and early Autumn?
